In the Fall of 2024, East Mississippi Community College’s chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) inducted 25 students, representing the college’s second class of inductees to join the organization.

The inductees demonstrated unwavering determination, navigating orientation, leadership training, speaker broadcasts, and networking teams to reach this significant achievement, which also opened doors to valuable scholarships. They actively embraced SMART goal setting, enhanced their resumes, engaged in community service and fostered self-awareness.
The induction ceremony featured an address by Chandler Lackey, the Chapter Success Manager of NSLS, who highlighted the vital importance of building connections and nurturing a growth mindset. The event concluded with a celebratory slide show showcasing the inductees’ remarkable journey. EMCC wholeheartedly congratulates the Fall 2024 NSLS inductees.
As the largest leadership honor society in the United States, with more than 700 chapters and more than 1 million members, EMCC is the only community college in Mississippi with an NSLS chapter. Founded in 2001 by Gary Tuerack, the NSLS is dedicated to empowering individuals to discover and pursue their dreams by nurturing leaders who strive to create a better world.
