Advising Mission

Advising at EMCC is a systematic, collaborative teaching and learning process that empowers individuals to achieve academic, professional, and life goals while considering their diverse backgrounds, goals, skills, and responsibilities.

Objectives

• Encourage academic success to achieve life goals.
• Provide opportunities for students to develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
• Provide timely, appropriate, and relevant support.

Service

Our helpful and knowledgeable team of advisors is available to meet with you in person, via phone, or online to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your path of study here at East Mississippi Community College. Advisors are available Monday through Friday during regular operating hours. Please click the “Appointments” tab below to make an appointment with the appropriate advisor or visit us for Walk-in on Wednesdays.
