Students who want to live in a residence hall must also pay a $100 non-refundable*
housing application fee. Students will not be assigned a room or placed on a wait list until they have attended
a JourneyEAST Orientation session and are registered for classes.
For student who need to request special housing accommodations due to pre-existing
medical conditions or because they are considered a high risk category for the recent
COVID-19 global pandemic, please complete the Housing Accommodation Request Form and submit along with your Housing Application.
*The housing applicaton fee is non-refundable unless EMCC is unable to provide housing
due to a lack of availability, in which case, the deposit will be refunded upon written
request from the student.
Gilbert Anderson Hall
Gilbert Anderson Hall is a female residence and the largest residence hall on campus.
- Two carpeted lounge areas with television and modern furniture
- Double rooms approximately 11’3” x 14’8”
- Furnished with two beds, two desks and chairs, two chest of drawers and two closets
- Suite and community style living
- Three rooms per suite and two bathrooms per suite

Kemper Hall
Kemper Hall is a co-residential residence hall.
- Doubele rooms (231 square feet)

Women’s Honors Hall
Women’s Honors is the female honors residence hall. Incoming freshmen must have an
ACT score of 21 or higher.
- Double rooms approximately 19’ x 14’
- Furnished with two beds, two desks and chairs, two chest of drawers and two closets
- Private bathroom in each room
- Live-in residence director
Men’s Honors Hall
Men’s Honors is the male honors residence hall. Incoming freshmen must have an ACT
score of 21 or higher.
- Double rooms approximately 12’ x 18’
- Furnished with two beds, two desks and chairs, two chest of drawers and two closets
- Private bathroom in each room
- Live-in residence director
Sullivan Hall
Sullivan Hall is a male residence that house members of the football team.
- Double rooms approximately 12’ x 12’5”
- Furnished with two beds, two desks and chairs, two chest of drawers and two closets
- Private bathroom in each room
- Live-in residence director
Athletic Cottages
The Athletic Cottage Villages house members of the Softball, Women’s and Men’s Basketball,
Baseball, and Rodeo teams.
- Two or three bedrooms
- Approximately 8’ 2” x 9’ rooms
- Living Room
- Kitchen includes refrigerator, microwave, dining table and chairs
- One bathroom per cottage
- Washer and Dryer in each cottage
- Residence Director in each village
Costs subject to change and each residence hall rate includes a $35 health fee.

All residential students must purchase a meal plan. All athletes must purchase a
7-Day Meal plan.
