HEATING, VENTILATION, AIR-CONDITIONING, AND REFRIGERATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

The Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC) Technology department offers a one-year vocational certificate. The one-year program is two semesters in length and prepares graduates to become employed in a residential and commercial setting performing special tasks relating to designing ductwork, assembly, installation, servicing, operation, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems according to the standards of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc., Air-Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), Air-Conditioning Heating Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), and others.

Requirements -
This program requires a 15 Composite on the ACT or a Silver Certificate on the ACT Work-keys exam. Please see the program advisor or Navigator for additional information regarding testing times and locations for Work-keys/Residual ACT.
