Mississippi State University and East Mississippi Community College signed a memorandum of understanding Feb. 12 at EMCC's Communiversity to formalize a partnership that will benefit students enrolled in technical education programs.

East Mississippi Community College President Dr. Scott Alsobrooks has been named a Paragon Award recipient by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Alsobrooks was nominated for the award by the PTK chapter on EMCC’s Scooba campus.
