East Mississippi Community College held spring 2023 commencement ceremonies Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13, at the college's Golden Triangle and Scooba campuses. More

Three East Mississippi Community College students placed in the 2023 Mississippi Community College Creative Writing Association's (MCCWA) annual workshop and contest, and EMCC's literary magazine, "Syzygy," took second-place honors among in-house college publications that were professionally bound. More

Mississippi legislators presented East Mississippi Community College with a ceremonial check in the amount of $2 million May 4 to offset construction costs of a new career technical building to be built on the college’s Scooba campus.
