EMCC STUDENTS EARN AWARDS IN STATEWIDE ART COMPETITION

Katherine Dunstan took third place in Drawing in the Mississippi Community College Art Instructors Association’s Student Art Competition and Art Show. Dunstan attends school on East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle campus, where she is also enrolled in the Golden Triangle Early College High School.

Colin Draving is the new assistant golf pro at the Lion Hills Center & Golf in Columbus and will assist with operations of the pro shop. Draving will also provide golf lessons and help coordinate tournaments and other events.

Colin Draving has been hired to serve in the role of assistant golf professional at East Mississippi Community College's Lion Hills Center & Golf Course, where he will provide private lessons and assist in day-to-day management of the pro shop. More

EMCC MARKETING STUDENTS VISIT CONGRESS DURING D.C. TOUR

Ten students enrolled in East Mississippi Community College's Marketing Technology program on the Scooba campus recently traveled to Washington, D.C., where they toured national monuments and spoke with federal officials about future job opportunities and federal funding for noncredit workforce programs. They also visited New York City. More
