EMCC ALUMNUS JONATHAN RUSSELL MAKING WAVES IN SOUTH FLORIDA CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Jonathan Russell, an All American dual-sport athlete who played football and baseball for East Mississippi Community College, launched a Florida-based construction company five years ago that was on track to top $30 million in revenues by the end of 2024.

Mathiston resident Dennisia Batts, at left, and her daughter, Kylie Brown, both graduated from East Mississippi Community College last December. It's been a little more than a month since Dennisia Batts and her daughter, Kylie Brown, graduated from East Mississippi Community College. For Batts, her Dec. 5 graduation from the Associate Degree Nursing program on EMCC's Golden Triangle campus was the culmination of a protracted educational journey fraught with obstacles, heartbreak and, ultimately, joy. More

Members of the EMCC softball team now have a dedicated facility that includes a combination recreation and lobby area, locker rooms and enclosed pitching and hitting lanes.
