East Mississippi Community College requires all students to complete an online application. Students are required to provide information as to previous education, and test scores are required in most cases. Choose from the list below, and select the kind of application you will need to complete:

For students who need academic assistance getting started at the college level, our open admission policy means that you’re welcome, and you’ll find the help you need here.

With competitive scholarships in a variety of programs, EMCC draws some of today’s most gifted students. For eligible residents of EMCC’s six-county district who enroll full-time (15 Hours) immediately following high school, tuition assistance is available. 

  • PRIORITY REGISTRATION

    High school seniors with an ACT score of 20 or higher can avoid the crowds at registration for East Mississippi Community College.

  •  JourneyEAST

    First-time, full-time students need to attend a Journey EAST Orientation.

  • TOUR CAMPUS

    Schedule a personal tour of our Golden Triangle and Scooba campuses to learn more about East Mississippi Community College.

  • ABOUT EMCC

    EMCC has seven locations to better serve its six-county district, offering a wide variety of academic and professional programs.

  • ADMISSIONS

    We offer tuition assistance for new in-district high school graduates, as well as institutional scholarships and financial aid for all students.

  • FINANCIAL AID

    East Mississippi Community College believes that qualified students should not be denied an education because of financial need.  

  •  TUITION ASSISTANCE

    EMCC offers a tuition assistance program to high school graduates who are residents of its six-county district. 

  • STUDENT HOUSING

    EMCC maintains six residence halls and 30 cottages on the Scooba campus which house about 600 students.

    A community of students, faculty, and staff dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence.
