POPULAR SUMMER CAMPS RETURN TO THE COMMUNIVERSITY, LION HILLS

Registration is taking place for 2024 summer camps at the Lion Hills Center and The Communiversity. Here, students participate last year in Camp AMP at The Communiversity.

Registration is taking place now for East Mississippi Community College’s annual summer camps at The Communiversity and the Lion Hills Center during the months of June and July. Multiple sessions are available in each of the camps. More information about the camps and registration links are available below.

JUNIOR GOLF CAMP

Six weeklong Summer Junior Golf Camps will be available for children ages 6-13 during the months of June and July at the Lion Hills Center. The camps run from 8 a.m. to noon daily. Campers will learn the fundamentals of golf. The cost is $185 per child and includes lunch and swimming at the Lion Hills Center pool. KIDS CULINARY CAMP

Three Kids Culinary Camps will be available at the Lion Hills Center during the month of June. Campers learn to bake, plan daily menus, and help clean up afterwards. Their lunch consists of the foods they make. The cost is $300 per child. A registration form are available here: 2024 Kids Culinary Camp. Here are the camp dates: June 10-13, for those who have completed grades 2-4; June 17-20, for those who have completed grades 5-8; and June 24-27 for those who have completed grades 9-12.

CAMP AMP

Registration is under way for Camp AMP, a summer camp at The Communiversity at EMCC that introduces students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to manufacturing and engineering methods such as 3D printing, engineering design, electrical technology, welding and automotive mechanics. Applications are being accepted for two Camp AMP sessions that run June 10-13, and July 15-18. The cost is $100 per camp. Online registration for Camp AMP is available here: https://bit.ly/3IqN7ul
