A record number of students in East Mississippi Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing program graduated Dec. 5 in a ceremony on the college’s Golden Triangle campus.
Forty-seven students took part in a pinning ceremony in the Lyceum Auditorium. It was the largest graduating class in the program’s history.
EMCC President Dr. Scott Alsobrooks provided the welcome. The guest speaker was Devean Turner, RN, a 2023 graduate of EMCC’s Associate Degree Nursing program.
Alsobrooks and Vice President of Instruction Dr. James Rush presided over the confirmation of the graduates. Director of Nursing Programs / Associate Dean of Health Sciences Jamonicia Johnson presented the graduates.
Associate Degree Nursing faculty presented several awards to students. Here is the list of those students who received awards and recognition:
