The Adult Education Launch Pad on East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle campus conducted a graduation ceremony on May 30 for students who had earned their high school equivalency diplomas.
Thirty-eight students earned their diploma, with the majority of those participating in the ceremony that took place in the Lyceum Auditorium. Brandi Ratliff, a professional development specialist with the Mississippi Community College Board’s Office of Adult Education provided special remarks. The guest speaker was EMCC Vice President of Operations Dr. Paul Miller, who is retiring in about a month.
Director of Adult Education Tshurah Dismuke presented a plaque to Miller in recognition for his contributions to the Adult Education department.
