East Mississippi Community College will be offering short-term classes during the Winter Term for students who want to pick up additional credits.
Enrollment for the online winter-break classes is open to current EMCC students, students from other colleges and universities, dual enrollment students, high school graduates and working professionals.
Fifteen traditional online classes will be available through our eLearning Department beginning on Dec. 19 and running through Jan. 6.
Six synchronous classes will be available and will require online work and a weekly virtual class meeting via Zoom. Those six classes begin on Dec. 12 and finish on Jan. 5.
“Taking accelerated online courses over the winter term is an excellent way for students to fulfill requirements, earn extra credit hours before the spring semester, progress in their studies or stay on track for graduation," Dean of eLearning Coranette “Chris” Square said.
Current students can register online or find out who their advisor is through their LEO account. Students are asked to contact their advisor by email if they need assistance with registering or to schedule an appointment online here: https://bit.ly/3aKLYuq
New students can apply online at www.eastms.edu. Click on the “Prospective Students” tab. An advisor will contact newly admitted students. General inquiries about advising can be sent via email to advising@eastms.edu.
