Swimming Pool Rules
No swimming is allowed by anyone unless Lion Hills Certified Lifeguards are on duty!
- Obey the lifeguard.
- All swimmers must sign in and out.
- Swimsuits only; no cut off jeans allowed.
- No running in the pool area.
- No diving. Ever.
- No glass or ceramic items allowed in the pool area. All beverages must be in plastic
or aluminum containers. Only alcoholic beverages, which are not sold at EMCC, may
be brought in. No other beverages or food of any type may be brought in to the facility.
- No fighting, horseplay or excessive noise permitted in the pool area.
- Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
- Chewing gum is not permitted while swimming.
- Only lifeguards are allowed on lifeguard stands.
- No loitering or talking to lifeguards on duty.
- Children under 12 years old are not allowed in the pool area unless accompanied and
supervised by someone who is at least 16 years of age.
- Diapers are not permitted in the pool. Please use approved swim diapers.
- Children who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Parents are responsible for the actions of their children under the age of 18.
- Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the premises.
- Anyone with open blisters, cuts, sores, etc. is advised not to use the pool.
- Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose or discharge of any bodily waste in the
pool is strictly prohibited.
- The first violation of pool rules or lifeguard instructions will result in a warning.
A second violation will result in removal from the pool area. A third violation will
result in suspension from the pool.
- If questions arise, obey the lifeguard.
Guests: A member may bring no more than two (2) guests to the pool at any time during regular
pool hours. The cost for each guest is $10 per visit. The member is responsible
for the cost of each guest if the guest does not pay. The member is responsible for
the cost of any food purchased by their guest if the guest does not pay. And, the
member is responsible for seeing that their guest follows all pool rules.
Lion Hills has the right to ask any patron to leave the premises for any behavior
Lion Hills deems unbecoming or detrimental to other patrons or to Lion Hills.
