A host of activities are planned for East Mississippi Community College's 2019 Homecoming, which includes alumni events, a Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony and an Oct. 26 football game when the Lions will face Northeast Mississippi Community College beginning at 2 p.m.

The Mississippi Community College Board has named the Early Childhood Academy (ECA) on East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle campus the September “Early Childhood Academy of the Month.” The announcement coincides with the ECA’s rollout of a pilot program designed to improve the quality of early education offered at participating child care centers to ensure preschool children are prepared to enter the public school system.

East Mississippi Community College art instructor Terry Cherry’s works will be featured at the Oct. 8 Fall Fine Arts Celebration in Aust Hall on the college’s Scooba campus.
