Career Technical

At East Mississippi Community College preparing students for work is WHAT WE DO. We recognize that a four-year degree isn't the only pathway to a high-paying career. We offer more than 30 different career-technical programs across our Golden Triangle, Scooba, and Communiversity locations.

Through our Career Technical Education Division, we specialize in high-demand career pathways in sectors such as medical, hospitality, business management, and human services. These programs clearly connect what you learn in the classroom with your chosen vocation, making learning interactive and relevant.

Through our Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Division, we offer high-quality, career-technical education programs focused on modern manufacturing. These programs combine rigorous technical education with hands-on experience and industry-recognized credentials to give students an advantage in the job market.

Through our Division of Nursing and Allied Health, we offer four distinct programs designed to meet the needs of the healthcare community. All Nursing and Allied Health programs feature dedicated classroom instruction, hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, and robust clinical training to prepare graduates for successful careers in the healthcare field.

Regardless of which technical program you choose, you'll get top notch instruction, access to cutting edge technology and equipment, and the personalized support you need to succeed--all at a fraction of the price of a four-year degree.
