SOUTHERN INVITATIONAL
CHORAL CONFERENCE

Eight music students from EMCC’s Scooba campus
participated in the Southern Invitational Choral Conference
held Sept. 28-29 at the University of Southern Mississippi.
These students sang under the directions of guest clinician
Dr. Betsy Cook Weber of the University of Houston, and
gained valuable experience in a wide variety of music and
choral techniques. They are, from front, Shaterrica Payne
of Columbus; Charise Watson, Charmagne Hoskins and
LaDonna Davidson, all of West Point; Anthony Butler of
DeKalb; and Anthony Brown, Quincy James and Shannon
