SUMMER ENROLLMENT UP NEARLY 35 PERCENT Summer enrollment at EMCC is up by 34.7 percent. CONGRATULATIONS, GED GRADUATES! EMCC held commencement exercises June 3 for its latest class of GED graduates. So far this year, 159 students have graduated from this high school equivalency program offered throughout EMCC’s six-county district. More than 30 of them took part in a graduation ceremony at the Lyceum auditorium at EMCC’s Golden Triangle campus. SPORTING CLAYS CHALLENGE CUP
Friends and supporters of East Mississippi Community College gathered May 28 for the 2nd Annual Sporting Clays Challenge Cup, presented by Pryor & Morrow Architects. Burnt Oak Lodge in Crawford hosted the event, and the weather was perfect. The Burnt Oak team walked away with first place. Pryor & Morrow claimed second place, and third place went to the team from Old Waverly Golf Club.
